The Coronavirus pandemic has affected several communities across the globe and has made the world standstill. We are tremendously grateful to all the essential workers who are putting their lives at risk to keep us safe. What better day to appreciate their efforts than The Labour Day itself!
A Big Thank You To Our Heroes!
Google also came up with a doodle a few days back to thank the medical staff. The colorful doodle captures the spirit of the hard work of our essential service providers. If you haven’t seen yet, go now! Facebook also launched “Care emoji” to show support during the Covid-19 crisis.
While we all are stuck at our homes and social distancing amid the Corona outbreak, let’s take a moment to thank the heroes working day and night for our safety. So, why not mark this day special by doing our bit and thanking the essential workers around the world. Here is a list of a few things that you can do to show your care and support.
Just Say Thank You!
Do you have neighbors who are in healthcare, police, and essential services? If yes, then take out a few minutes to appreciate their work. Ask them about how they are dealing with situations. There is a lot to handle in this crisis situation, by asking them how they feel. Appreciate their efforts and dedication by thanking them.
Hang Signs
You can also hang thank you signs in front of your homes or on the streets. Whenever any frontline provider crosses will feel good. It’s a great way to appreciate their efforts and thank them for their efforts.
Support Their Families
We know that some workers are working for longer hours in this crisis. You can support their families by helping them. You can pick up groceries or drop-off some meals to offer extended support.
So, le’s celebrate this Labour Day by thanking all the heroes.
